The linksys comes with a disk. I assume the disk does not help you? A DSL modem does need for the PPoP to be turned on in the router. If you have been messing with the router settings, push the reset button with a paper clip for 30 seconds and start over. Get rid of the bridge. Make sure that the ethernet wire from the modem goes into the WAN or Internet port on the router. Then run a second wire from one of the four LAN router ports to your computer. The computer should recognize the wired connection quickly. If none of this works contact linksys and start a service call.
